COMPUTER COURSES

Computers as well as the Internet have already become a part of our lives. This new technology, and its accelerating pace offers us the tools to make our work faster and more effective.

The computer courses offered at our School provide one computer per person with the aim of familiarizing each student with the proper use of computers. Such knowledge certainly ensures the students' ability to accomplish demands in the workplace.

 

All the computers use the operating system Windows XP.
The courses are offered according to the students' needs.
The courses for our young students include basic skills courses, as well as the teaching of the Paint application and MS Windows XP operating system.

COURSES

Basic Skills

Introduction: Basic skills (Hardware, Software), programming, applications.

Operating System Windows XP: Windows XP desktop, windows, control panel, Windows explorer.

Word processing Word: New document, editing and formating a document, mail merge, borders, tables, inserting graphics and objects.

Spreadsheets Excel: Data entry and formating, calculations, functions, charts

Data Bases Access: New data base, data entry and formating, relationships.

Internet: Connections, websites, e-mail, world wide web.

The courses last 50 hours, four lessons of two hours per week. The classes begin the first ten days of every month during the whole year.

Computerized Accounting

Manual book-keeping of Α, Β and C class of the Greek Book Code: Commercial applications according to the Greek Accounting Scheme.

Commercial administration and Salary applications: Teaching of an accounting software about the administration of Purchasing, Sales, Clients, Suppliers, Employees and Salary.

General Accounting and Books of receipts and expenses: Teaching of an accounting software about Book-keeping.

The accounting software that is taught is the Unisoft Kefalaio 3 and the Singular Eurofasma.
